Production Licence Agreement

1. Grant of licence
L&B Creative Ventures Limited, trading as Stage Library, grants the licensed organisation a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to perform the named production live within the United Kingdom during the licence period.
2. Licence period
The licence runs for 12 months from the date payment is confirmed. Start and expiry dates are recorded against your licence and shown in your library.
3. Performances
You may give unlimited live performances of the production during the licence period. Stage Library charges no performance royalties, no cast-size fee, no audience-size fee and no per-performance fee.
4. Materials
The script and the Stage Library resources supplied for the title may be copied and shared only within your organisation and cast for the purpose of staging this production. They must not be resold, published, or shared with other organisations.
5. Adaptation
Reasonable staging adjustments for your group are expected and permitted. The work must not be rewritten, republished, or presented as another author's work.
6. Music
No music is licensed under this agreement. Stage Library does not write, supply or license original music, backing tracks, vocal tracks, sheet music or scores. Suggested Songs are existing third-party songs recommended for use, and any permissions required for them are the licensee's responsibility.
7. Excluded rights
Filming, video recording, streaming, broadcast and any distribution of a recorded performance are not permitted under this licence.
8. Credit
Programmes and promotional material should credit the writer and Stage Library as the source of the production.
9. Expiry
When the licence expires, performance rights end. Your records and library entry remain visible, marked as expired, and a new licence is required for further performances.
10. Termination
Stage Library may end this licence if its terms are breached. Where a licence is ended or refunded, any outcome will be confirmed to you in writing.
